Anglian Combination League round-up: Premier Division leaders Spixworth reach Mummery Cup semis

A Danny Pennell strike was enough to knock out Norwich CEYMS and send Premier Division leaders Spixworth through to the Mummery Cup semi-finals.

Goals from Sam Applegate (2) and Chris Halls helped Mattishall beat Hindringham 3-1, Garrett Ward, Anton Ward and Aaron Bowers netted in Caister's 3-1 victory at Dersingham while Stalham beating Harleston thanks to a David Bailey effort.

Andrew Moody (2), Martin Bramble and Nathan Savage netted in Reepham's 4-2 Premier Division win over rivals Acle. Oliver Savage scored twice for Acle. Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves beat Blofield United 3-1. Sscorers were Liam Harvey-Cooper (2) and Kaiden Goldspink, with Troy Lowthorpe replying. Aaron Sanders netted for Wroxham Rerserves but they lost 2-1 to Loddon United – Matthew Ayre getting both goals. Beccles Town beat Wymondham Town 3-0 with two goals from Damon Bensley and one from Elliott Dawes.

In Division One, Sam Page and Andy Clitheroe scored for Long Stratton but they drew 2-2 with Aylsham. North Walsham Town went top on goal difference thanks to a 5-0 over Munford.
