Acle United started the new year with a dramatic victory although the Anglian Combination fixture schedule was hit by the wet weather.

Acle took advantage of the inactivity of others to extend their lead at the top of the Premier Division with a 6-5 win over Sheringham. They were 4-1 down at one stage, with their winner coming in injury time.

James Bulman (2), Daniel Foreman, Timothy Henery, Calum Webb and Ian Morgan were on target for Acle whilst Jonathan Abbs (2), Philip Durham, Jack Withington and Stamatopolos replied. A goal from Dale Rayner earned Reepham Town a 1-1 draw with Mattishall, Jake Anema getting their goal. Spixworth got back on track with a 7-0 win at Wymondham Town, scorers Danny Brown (4), Jason Armes (2) and Charles Sizeland. Blofield United v Norwich CEYMS and Long Stratton v Dersingham Rovers were both postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

In Division One, Hempnall travelled to Hindringham and won 6-2 to stay top. Another high scoring match at Scole United saw them beat Hellesdon 6-4. Scole's goals came from Edward Cussons, William Goulding, Thomas Green, Benjamin Norton-Hugman, James Harrison and David Coleman for home team whilst Glenn Spooner (2), Jamie Hall and Connor Charlesworth notched for the visitors.

Darren Miller, Daniel Tindall, John Thorne and Ryan Beeson scored for Stalham Town as they won 4-1 at Poringland Wanderers.
