Acle are through the the national semi-finals of the Yetton Plate after beating Peterborough 98-44 at Pentney. They now face Boston for a place in the final.
Molly Auld, Debra Nicholson, Ros Myhill and Sue Batchelor raced into a 19–0 lead lost on only four ends as they won 30–11. Margaret Arnold, Maureen Wright, Amy Barker and Marion Himpleman scored a six on the second end as they won equally convincingly, 27–9.
Shirley Lettice, Gwyn Xuereb, Jenny Kirby and Geraldine Reeve were also in complete command, winning 21–11. Joy Pearson, Betty Brown, Elaine Cole and Melanie Haylett trailed 6-1 but came back to win 20–13.
