A Clarke contrast: King’s Lynn Town’s Ryan on night he saw red and brother Ewan bagged winner

The Linnets' right-back was in fine form again as he helped his team take a 2-1 lead into the break at the New Manor Ground on Monday night.
However, his evening turned sour just after the interval when referee Luke Watson sent him off for tackling Antwan Russell in the area and denying a clear goalscoring opportunity.
Even though it looked to almost everyone that the 29-year-old had won the ball, the older of the two siblings was forced to watch on from the stands as his team-mates fell behind. But Dan Jacob smashed in an equaliser with about 10 minutes to go before Ewan Clarke, 23, ensured his family's name made the headlines for the right reasons by prodding home a late winner – much to the delight of his older brother.
'I can't remember a game of football like that,' Ryan told Lynn's YouTube channel.
'I thought we had some great chances first half to kill the game off. The two widemen (Andy Hall and Jacob) were outstanding. And then the game turned on its head. I don't think it was a penalty. A lot of other people are telling me that. But to come back from 3-2 down, the lads have showed incredible spirit.
'I don't think there were many people in the ground who have backed us to come back. Obviously, I'm equally pleased as well that my brother's got the winner with a couple of minutes to go. The main thing for us though was to get back to winning ways.'

After the tale of the two Clarkes, Ewan took to social networking website Twitter to post the message: 'What a feeling! Great result and great character from the boys!'. He was also quick to retweet a message from Grantham Town player Massiah McDonald which said: '@ryclarke12 gets sent off, @clarkey2012 scores the winner. What a good night for the brothers. Lol (laugh out loud)'.
