St George's Theatre will be welcoming the return of the cast of singers and dancers on Remembrance Sunday that will perform a show which commemorates music, songs and sketches that helped win the war.

Songs of Remembrance by Full House Productions includes songs and medleys by the likes of Vera Lynn, Flanagan & Allen, The Andrews Sisters, The Glenn Miller Big band, Doris Day and Max Miller among others.

The show includes singalong sections and audience participation and promises 'a nostalgic and humorous trip down Memory Lane' as the cast pay a sentimental tribute to the popular songs of the time, as well as sketches and poems that played such a big part in keeping up the morale of servicemen and everybody at home.

The show features a cast of singers and dancers who are looking forward to returning to the historic venue following sell-out visits in 2016 and 2015.

Producer Paul Amer said: 'We love performing at St. George's – the theatre really suits our show and we always love the audience who are great - getting very involved in the show and joining in with all the songs. It's always a highlight during the run of shows.'

The show starts at 4pm on Sunday, November 12 with tickets at £13 and £11 for concessions, with discount rates available for parties of 8 or more, and are available from St. George's Theatre on 01493 441484 or www.stgeorgestheatre.com
