King's Lynn Internal Drainage Board (`the Board) gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the Islington Pumping Station. The proposed works are to include the construction and relocation of a new pumping station at Eau Brink Road, Wiggenhall St Germans as part of the Islington Flood Risk Management Scheme.
The Board considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. As best practice the Board has prepared a number of environmental reports, which can be viewed on request to the Board's Chief Executive (address shown below). Please telephone for an appointment. Any person who wishes to make representation to the Board in relation to the environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address shown below, within 28 days of the date of the publication of this notice.
