Norfolk police are investigating a spate of incidents where cars have been moved overnight, possibly after being hit by another vehicle.

Officers believe the latest crime, in Cromer overnight on October 22/23, may be linked to four similar earlier incidents in north Norfolk and Broadland.

In the Cromer incident, a blue VW Polo, parked on Bond Street, was moved and found about 50ft away outside the Bond Street Bakery with bodywork damage.

In the earlier incidents, all overnight on October 18/19, a Renault Clio parked on the roadside in Kings Road, Coltishall, was moved and parked in a neighbour's front garden, causing bodywork damage.

On the same evening a Mitsubishi Colt parked in Norwich Road, Horsham St Faith, was pushed to the opposite side of the road, leaving it with a damaged front and rear bumper.

In Newton St Faith a Ford KA was pushed off a grass verge and into a telegraph pole in Newton Road causing damage.

And in Frettenham, a vehicle was used to ram a parked car, causing it to shunt 30ft along the road, damaging the rear bumper.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any of the incidents or who has information about them.

Witnesses should contact PC Adrian Craske in relation to the Cromer incident or PC Daniel Still for all other incidents.

In all instances, ring 101.
