A Dereham man has been charged with malicious communications offences and assaulting a police officer after an incident in Dereham Market Place.
Zack Barnes was arrested outside the NatWest bank branch, at 11.30am, on Wednesday, September 20.
Police said Barnes, 19, of Walnut Way, Dereham, has been charged with three malicious communications offences, under the Communications Act 2003.
He was also charged with one count of assaulting a police officer, which related to his arrest.
Barnes has been bailed to King's Lynn Magistrates Court, where he is due to appear on October 6.
