Norwich road reopens after lorry debacle

A busy Norwich road has reopened after a lorry got wedged across the highway during rush hour this morning.

Traffic chaos was caused when the PCL Transport lorry got stuck across Ipswich Road, outside City College Norwich, at 8am today (Thursday). The road was blocked in both directions from the outer ringer road to Cecil Road.

It is not known how the lorry, which had two tonnes of goods on board, got stuck but it is believed the driver was trying to turn around. The road was cleared at 9.10am.
