Hello and welcome to the politics newsletter, rounding up some of the stories brought to you by our local government reporters.
Among this week's tales are the bizarre goings-on in Reedham, where a man found himself fenced into his own garden.
Norfolk County Council's journey towards devolution is moving forward, but eyebrows have been raised at the authority's reluctance to reveal where it could use £7m to build hundreds of homes.
There is also a frustrating lack of transparency over the dispute involving County Hall which has led to Great Yarmouth's Haven Bridge staying shut.
There is fresh interest in Norwich's former Colman's Mustard factory site, with the owners keen to sell.
Still in Norwich and another road scheme has been delayed. This time it is a new link road close to Norwich Airport where work has been pushed back.
And in the south of the county, a decision was made on controversial plans for a new roundabout in Hethel, to improve access to the Lotus Cars site.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter.
