People can cha-cha-cha their way back to fitness with new dance courses being launched next week.

Dance instructors Alison Horsepole and Carole Jones will help launch the spring Get Back Into programme at Lynnsport on Tuesday with dance demonstrations.

The initiative, delivered by the borough council, gives people the chance to return to an acitivity they used to enjoy or try something new.

Courses are available at a variety of locations across the borough and cost up to 30 for an 8-week course.

Roger Partridge, West Norfolk Council's sports development manager, said: 'These fun introductory sessions are a great way to get more active.

'Busy lifestyles mean that many adults haven't done regular exercise since leaving school and the thought of returning to a sport can be intimidating if you're a bit rusty.

'These courses mean everyone is in the same boat. We've found in the past that people who complete the sessions are keen to continue, so I hope that this season's courses will be just as successful in helping people to make long-term improvements to their lifestyles.'

As well as learning some new Zumba or ballroom dance moves, people can also enjoy traditional favourites like swimming, netball and golf.
