Children from across South Norfolk will be learning valuable safety skills as they join Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service's 70th Crucial Crew.
More than 1,000 youngsters aged 10-11 from 42 schools will attend one of the two hour workshops running at Easton and Otley College from Monday July 2 July to Friday July 6.
Crucial Crew is a multi-agency project which has been running in Norfolk for 15 years.
Chairman of Norfolk County Council's Communities Committee, Councillor Margaret Dewsbury, said: 'This will be the service's 70th Crucial Crew and each has been hugely beneficial to young people across Norfolk, with more than 60,000 having taken part.
As well as learning about fire safety in real-life scenarios, children also take part in short bitesize workshops.
This year's topics include household emergencies, online safety, gas safety, seaside safety, smoking awareness, road safety and first aid.
