Parents and toddlers have added their voices to a campaign to save Oulton Broad Library, near Lowestoft.
As Suffolk County Council attempts to save 2m by off-loading 29 libraries, members of a Book Start Activity club, which meets every Thursday, are calling on local people to sign a petition to keep the Bridge Street branch going.
Mum Charlotte Thornton, who organised the petition, said: 'We are just one small example of how this library is used for multiple purpose and is far more than just a venue to hire books.
'Without this facility I am sure that neither myself nor my daughter would be able to enjoy free children's activities, a happy social environment and the pleasure of many books each week within our local community.'
