Ludham Primary School's council of pupils had won a place in the finals of a national Tycoon in Schools competition run by the Peter Jones Foundation.

The children's business idea was for a sustainable bird feeder called Birdie Brunch and their strap line was 'a filling feast for your feathered friends'.

The foundation then contacted the school asking for a further 140 Birdie Brunch products from the school to be used at a charity dinner held by Peter Jones, star of Dragons' Den

The pupils worked flat out, often through their lunchtimes, in order to make enough Birdie Brunch products to meet the order's deadline. They were said to be delighted that their product was so highly thought of and was going to be put on each business person's place setting at the charity dinner.
