A 16-year-old woman was taken to hospital with suspected whiplash injuries after a crash in Great Yarmouth on Saturday morning.

Two vehicles collided on the Gapton Hall roundabout, at the Pasteur Road junction with the A12, at around 11.30am.

The crash did not cause too much congestion and the road did not have to be closed but fire crews did have to use hydraulic rescue equipment to cut one of the people involved free.

The two vehicles involved were a Land Rover and a Fiat, with the young woman taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston for further treatment.
