A competition is being held to encourage more children to get involved in sport.
The Thetford Iceni Marathon and Half Marathon will this year celebrate its third anniversary.
And to engage more youngsters in the event, Melanie Floyd, director of the marathon, has launched a competition for anyone under the age of 16 to design a medal.
The theme should link to Thetford and the winning design will be on all of the medals given out on the day.
The winner will also have their own medal presented to them at the start of the event on Sunday, September 10 and will also be invited to hand out the medals at the finishing post.
