A barn owl made a surprise visit to a barn dance held in aid of Reepham's primary school.
The event was held at Reepham and Whitwell station on Saturday and was organised by The Friends of Reepham Primary school.
The bird swooped over the line of dancers and landed on a pile of chairs at the end of the room.
The owl had a tag on its leg and was traced to its owner in Yorkshire.
