A man whose body was found in the North Sea by an offshore windfarm work boat was today named as Jerome Atherton.

Mr Atherton, who was 31, died of drowning, an inquest in King's Lynn heard today.

Coroner Jacqueline Lake adjourned the inquest to a full hearing in Norwich, on January 15.

Mr Atherton, of Paget Road, originally came from Hinckley, in Somerset.

He was found on September 10, by the crew of the transfer vessel Dalby Aire, which was passing the Barnard Shoal, off Kessingland.

Police said his death was not being treated as suspicious.
