The head of regeneration and environment has been dismissed from his role with Great Yarmouth Borough Council after facing a disciplinary committee.
Tim Howard was subject to an investigation by the council and called to a meeting with the council's Investigating Committee on Wednesday July 6.
A spokesman for Great Yarmouth Borough Council said It was unclear whether Mr Howard would appeal against the decision.
'At a meeting of the council's Investigating Committee on Wednesday 6 July, 2011, the head of regeneration and environment was dismissed from his job with notice,' the spokesman added.
'This decision has now been confirmed by the Council's Cabinet as required by the local authorities.'
