A Wymondham woman has made an appeal for help after her pet partridge went missing.
Jenny Dalton, of Rustens Manor Road, rescued a partridge chick 16 weeks ago after discovering it on its own in a car park in Shropham.
But the bird, which has been named 'Peetwie' and has become tame, failed to return home on Monday and was last seen in the Lime Tree Avenue area of Wymondham near the Ashleigh Infant School playing field.
Mrs Dalton said the bird would not survive in the wild because it was not scared of humans or dogs.
