Cake makers are being invited to whip out their best creations for a 'cake off' as part of a town's upcoming vintage day.
The 'Great Wymondham Cake-Off' is being organised for the September 10 event, covering four categories - Victoria sponge, chocolate, lemon and gluten free or vegan. Suzanne Nuri from Wymondham Town Team, which is organising the vintage day, said: 'This is a fabulous chance for cake makers to show off their skills and take part in a fun event too.
'Judges will be marking on appearance as well as taste and we're looking forward to seeing some beautiful cakes from our community.'
It will be £2 to enter a cake on the day and cake makers must register by emailing wymondhamvintageday@gmail.com with a list of their ingredients prior to the event.
The cakes will be sold at a vintage day tea dance at Central Hall later in the day. See the town team's Facebook page for more details.
