Stallholders at Wymondham farmers' market will be cutting a celebratory cake on Saturday to mark the 11th anniversary of the market.

The cake will be made and presented to fellow traders by the Country Market team, who have been present at the monthly market since it began in March 2000.

Wymondham was the first town in Norfolk to have a farmers' market and the number of stalls has gradually increased over the years. It now averages more than 20, with a mixture of year round regulars and seasonal participants.

The market operates from 9am to 1pm at the Market Cross, on the third Saturday of every month. For more information, contact Wymondham Town Council on 01953 603302.
