A family from Wymondham will be completing a 20-mile sponsored walk for the Alzheimer's Society this weekend.
Tim Ketland, the former landlord at the town's Green Dragon pub, will be walking with friends and family along a stretch of The Marriott's Way on Easter Sunday morning.
The group are expected to raise about 1,000 for the charity through pledged sponsorship, although they will be carrying donation buckets along their route in the hope generous passers-by may contribute to their total.
They will end the walk with a stop at the Bird in Hand pub in Wreningham.
The charitable event has been inspired by Mr Ketland's mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
