The chairman of a south Norfolk community centre allegedly defrauded funds which he was supposed to be looking after.
Peter Houghton, 78, of Lime Tree Avenue, Wymondham, is accused of defrauding North Wymondham Community Centre, where he was treasurer and chairman, of �4,101 in cash and cheques.
At Norwich Magistrates' Court today, Houghton did not enter a plea and was released on unconditional bail.
The case was adjourned to August 29.
