A talking newspaper for the visually impaired is searching for volunteers to try their hand at journalism.

Wymondham and Attleborough Talking Newspaper is looking for volunteer news gatherers to support their weekly audio news and information service for visually impaired people.

The Scoop Group will meet in Wymondham library at 4pm on the first Thursday of the month, to collate material gathered from posters, parish and community magazines and other sources.

The Talking Newspaper is particularly keen to hear from volunteers who live in the outlying villages.

The first meeting of the new group will be held on Thursday, July 5.

It is one of twelve independently run Talking Newspaper (TN) groups in Norfolk and more than 500 in the UK.
