A popular old children's television character created a stir in Halesworth as the town celebrated its annual scarecrow festival.
Scarecrow Worzel Gummidge and a collection of different heads were recreated in the window of Vision Mencap, in Market Place, and after capturing the attention of passers-by the entry was named as the winner of the festival's third instalment.
Janette Womack, of Vision Mencap, said: 'Everyone got involved with making the scarecrow. We are a service for people with learning disabilities, with 20 people attending the service, so with staff and volunteers too, everyone did a little bit.'
She added: 'Everyone was really chuffed to win. It was good to get some sort of feedback, the guys really like getting feedback on their work.'
The festival is organised by the Halesworth Town Centre Group as a way of bringing people into the town centre.
Second place was awarded to Toby's Pet shop, in Market Place, for their traditional scarecrow and third was awarded to Merlin Shoes, in Thoroughfare, for their version of The Queen and Prince Philip.
Any money raised from donations is given to the town's Christmas Lights appeal.
