Twenty-five people were evacuated from an industrial unit on a King’s Lynn industrial estate after fire broke out in the building.

No-one is believed injured in the incident, at Ford and Slater, on the Saddlebow Industrial Estate but an ambulance stayed at the scene and for a couple of hours.

Firefighters from Lynn are on scene damping down and ensuring acetylene cyclinders on the premises, in Maple Road, are safe. An officer from the Environment Agency is also at the scene.

Police officers closed the road soon after the incident started at 11am and remain at the scene diverting traffic.
