This steel frame will soon become a new community facility for the village of Gissing, near Diss.

Among the new facilities provided in the building next to the The Old School, will be a multi-purpose function room, and a cafe designed to be a welcoming social hub.

After months of hard work, The Heart of Gissing charity was successful in securing a £711,365 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

The work is scheduled for completion next spring. In the picture are members of the charity.
