An ambulance was called but not needed after a 93-year-old drove into her house in Hockwold

A 93-year-old woman who drove into her house this afternoon walked away with just minor injuries.

The woman drove a car into her home on Main Street in Hockwold Cum Wilton near Thetford at around 4.30pm.

Two fire crews from Methwold and Brandon also attended and checked the scene was safe.

An ambulance was called but did not need to take the woman to hospital.
