A woman was treated by paramedics after she fell from her bicycle.

The woman, believed to be in the 40s, came off her bike at the junction of Norwich Road and the A419 Caister by-pass.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) said they sent an ambulance crew to the scene.

She was treated for injuries to her head, shoulder and arm and was said to be concious and breathing.

A police spokesman said they were called by the ambulance service to help direct traffic as the ambulance had to park on the roundabout as the woman was lying in the road.
