Woman taken to hospital after crash on A12 near Hopton

A woman in her 20s was injured after a collision on the A12 near Hopton.

Emergency services were called just before 6pm last night (Saturday), to the incident believed to be close to the Jay Lane junction.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: 'An ambulance attended and treated a woman in her 20s with suspected pain in her pelvis and knee.

'She was taken to James Paget Hospital for further care. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.'

Fire crews from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Lowestoft also attended, and assisted the ambulance service at the scene.
