A woman suffered chest injuries when her car left the road on a rural road just before dawn.
Emergency services were called to the accident on Withersdale Road near Weybread, close to the Norfolk-Suffolk border, at shortly before 5.30am today (October 15).
Fire crews from Harleston and Diss used hydraulic rescue equipment to help free the motorist after her vehicle left the road and struck bushes close to the junction with Water Lane.
The B1123 Withersdale Road, which runs from Weybread and Metfield, was closed to allow paramedics to treat the woman who had suffered chest injuries and a suspected broken arm at the scene. She was later taken to James Paget Hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
