POLICE in Lowestoft are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a 42-year-old woman as she walked in Raglan Street at about 10.20pm on Boxing Day.
The woman was initially followed by the man for a short distance in the Camp Road area. She then heard footsteps behind her and the man grabbed her.
She remonstrated with him and the man backed off. The woman then walked home and police were alerted.
The man was white, in his 40s, about 5ft 4in, of heavy build with a pot belly, with below shoulder length straight dark hair and was wearing a dark jacket.
•Anyone who may recognise the description of the man or anyone with information that may help enquiries should call Sgt 113 Holmes at Lowestoft on 101.
