Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault which happened in Swaffham over the weekend.

A woman in her late teens was walking along Whitsands Road at approximately 2pm on Saturday, June 10 June, when a man walked up behind her and touched her inappropriately.

The man is described as Asian, aged in his late 20s, approximately 5ft 7, of a slim build with short black hair.

He was wearing a tight black t-shirt, black jeans, blue and white running trainers and a distinctive neon pink rucksack that had many other bright colours on it in square patterns.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, should contact PC Bob Walker-Hall at Dereham Police Station on 101.
