Woman seriously injured after car and van crash at Stanfield

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash on the B1145 at Stanfield, near Dereham.

The collision, between a grey Audi A4 and a white Citroen van happened at 10.30am on Saturday near to the junction with Reed Lane and resulted in the van colliding with a near-by property.

The female driver of the Audi was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with serious injuries whilst the male driver of the van suffered minor injuries.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident.
