A woman was robbed in the early hours of the morning while walking along Norwich Road in Thetford.

The woman, in her 20s, was walking down the road near to the junction of Kilverstone Road at 1am on Wednesday June 6 when she was approached.

The person grabbed her handbag before making off towards the A11.

The victim sustained a minor injury to her wrist after falling to the floor during the robbery.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
