A dog-walker was rescued by the Hunstanton RNLI Hovercraft team after she got stuck in mud on the marsh area at Holme beach today.

The crew was alerted at about 2.30pm and when they arrived at the scene they found the woman was stuck in the mud up to her waist with her two dogs standing by her.

The crew used mud mats to manually lift the woman out of the mud. Afterwards she confirmed to the crew that she was okay apart from feeling a bit wet, muddy and cold.
