A woman in her 50s has been taken to hospital with injuries to her foot after she slipped off a boat close to the Pontiac Roadhouse at Halvergate, near Acle.
The woman, a 57-year-old from Suffolk, was believed to be trying to moor the privately owned vessel on the River Bure when she slipped, cutting her foot on the boat's propeller.
Yarmouth Coastguard were alerted to the incident, which happened at about 10.25am todayand sent the Winterton Coastguard Rescue Team.
Ian Haines, watch officer for Yarmouth Coastguard, said the East of England Ambulance Service Trust and Norfolk police were also involved in the rescue operation.
The woman, who is believed to have received serious gashes to her foot, has been taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston for treatment.
