Woman in 20s air lifted to hospital after medical emergency in Eccles on Sea

Residents and holidaymakers received a shock in Eccles on Sea after the East of England Air Ambulance landed in their midst.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call just after 9am to reports of a young woman suffering from breathing difficulties.

The ambulance service then called for back up from the Air Ambulance, who landed in a field adjacent to the scene on Beach Road.

The woman in her 20s was thought to be in a stable condition, but was air lifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.
