A woman has been cut free after she got stuck in some brambles.
A call came into the ambulance service just after 3.30pm this afternoon (Tuesday, January 31) to reports of a woman who was stuck in some brambles behind Gapton Hall Road, Great Yarmouth.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was spotted by police who were in the area and they stopped when they saw she was in precarious position and needed some help.
The officers called the fire and ambulance services when they became concerned that she was in a dangerous situation.
She was freed from the brambles by a fire crew from Great Yarmouth who used cutting tools to release her.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) sent an ambulance crew who were on the scene in under seven minutes.
She was treated at the scene for cuts to her face and hands.
