A woman whose body was discovered at her bungalow in a south Norfolk village has been named.

Karen Tracie Roberts, 42, of Francis Road, Long Stratton, died of natural causes.

Norfolk coronor William Armstrong said on the basis of a post mortem report and all available information there were no circumstances to warrant an inquest and the body has been released for cremation.

Emergency services rushed to the home just before midday on Friday. A row of bungalows, village green and alleyway were cordoned off whilst forensic and scenes of crime officers began their investigation.

A man in his 40s was arrested shortly after the incident was reported, but was later released without charge after being questioned by the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Police Major Investigation Team.

A post mortem examination on Saturday revealed Ms Roberts died of natural causes and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
