Emergency services attended a collision on the Hempton Road.
Police said the crash, which happened just after 12-noon, involved a Land Rover and a Citroen.
The road was closed while a woman was cut free from the car. At 2.20pm, the amublance service said she was being treated for suspected neck and back injuries at the scene.
