Police are seeking witnesses after a motorcycle was stolen from outside a property in Lowestoft.

The motorcycle had been locked with a heavy duty chain on the rear wheel, which was also taken, as it was stolen sometime between 10.30pm on Wednesday (May 3) and 7.30am on Thursday (May 4) from outside the address in Selby Street.

A police spokesman said: 'The stolen vehicle is a Sinnis Stealth 125CC Qingqi motorcycle, registration number KX12GEY.

'The motorcycle is black with a blue trim, and has distinctive gold suspension bars at the front. It is described as having a couple of tears on the leather seat.'

Police would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen this vehicle, or anyone who has information about this theft. Calls should be made to East CID at Suffolk Police on 101 quoting reference 32902/17, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
