Police are appealing for witnesses after a lorry failed to stop following an incident in Coltishall.
At about 3.15pm on Saturday, March 8, a red VW Up car was travelling through Coltishall on the B1150 when, close to the pharmacy, it was approached by an agricultural lorry heading in the opposite direction, towards Norwich.
As the lorry passed the VW, an unknown item fell from its trailer and hit the windscreen of the car, causing it to smash.
The lorry, described as red and green in colour, failed to stop at the scene. It is thought it may also have been travelling too fast for the road conditions, forcing two other vehicles towards the verge to avoid a collision. Contact PC Nicholas Metcalf on 101.
