Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was abandoned in a village cul-de-sac.

The damaged silver Vauxhall Astra was discovered in St Andrew's Way, Necton, near Swaffham, at 7.10am, on Monday, March 6.

Police officers were called but no other emergency services were sent to the scene.

The car is being recovered now and the road is passable.

Anyone with information about the incident should call Norfolk police on 101.
