There are just under eight hours of sunlight today on the shortest day of the year so it's a good job but Norfolk looks great at night.
These photos from our archive show the beauty of Norfolk at night.
They date from the 1980s and 1990s and include landmarks from some of the county's famous market towns as well as a selection of the fine City after dark.
