They're a familiar feature of the Norfolk countryside and Wymondham residents now have the opportunity to see a windmill-making demonstration next weekend.
The event will be at the Norwich and Peterborough office on May 12 to coincide with National Windmills Weekend, and saxophone quartet Seriously Saxy will also be playing in the Market Place as part of the new season of the Wymondham Music Festival.
Windmill House care home in Browick Road will have a community table-top sale at 2pm and cafes in the town will be offering themed meal deals. Wicklewood Primary School has also produced a themed mural to reflect the fact that the village has its own windmill and this will be on display in Wymondham library.
Windmill Day is the latest in a series of themed events. For more information, contact the Activity Team on 01953 605434.
