GoGoHares fans snap up 4,000 copies of our souvenir sticker book
PUBLISHED: 18:24 04 July 2018
GoGoHares fans certainly seem stuck on our special souvenir sticker album - with 4,000 copies already snapped up.
The albums have been flying off the shelves since they were first launched to coincide with the start of the GoGoHares trails being brought to Norwich and Norfolk by children’s charity Break and Wild in Art this summer.
And alongside the albums, more than 14,000 packs of stickers have also been collected by GoGo fans keen to fill up their books with the 233 stickers to collect.
The 60-page book - created by the EDP and Evening News in partnership with Break and East of England Co-op - features a sticker spot for each and every GoGoHare and leveret sculpture on the three GoGoHares trails as well as some special shiny stickers.
EDP and Norwich Evening News editor David Powles said: “We are delighted so many people are enjoying our GoGoHares album and having fun collecting the stickers.
“The book is designed to add an extra dimension to the brilliant GoGoHares trails that Break and Wild in Art have brought to Norwich and Norfolk this summer.”
Roger Grosvenor, joint chief executive at the East of England Co-op, said; “We can hare-dly believe the excitement that the GoGoHares trail has caused.
“The interest in the sticker books and the stickers has been really fantastic. Hundreds of people have been hopping to our stores to get hold of them.”
Michael Rooney, head of commercial services at Break, also said it was great to see so many people enjoying the trails and collecting the stickers and other GoGoHares merchandise.
The GoGoHares sticker book costs £5 and is a tribute to all the artists, hare sponsors and supporters who have helped create the GoGoHares family.
The EDP and Evening News are publishing a voucher each day which can be exchanged for one pack of five stickers. Every Saturday the EDP will include a voucher for two packs.
Alternatively you can buy sticker packs for £1 each and the £5 album at selected EDP and Norwich Evening News offices, Break shops, East of England Co-op stores, One Stop shops and independent retailers, online www.edp24.co.uk/hares, and by calling 01603 772138.
The GoGoHares trails will run until September 8. For more information, visit www.gogohares.co.uk
