Below is a list of everything happening in Norfolk on Thursday April 21 to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.

ACLE: Beacon lighting at 8.30pm at the Acle Bridge Inn.

ATTLEBOROUGH: Beacon lighting at the London Tavern in Church Street at 5pm with a glass of fizz for well-wishers to toast the Queen as well as free jacket potatoes and, for children, free jelly and ice-cream and squash.

BECCLES: A tree will be planted in Her Majesty's honour at noon in Leman House Gardens at Beccles Museum with guests from churches and schools. A plaque commemorating The Queen will also be unveiled. The bells will be rung from St Michael's Church in the town centre.

BUNGAY: Beacon lighting at Bungay Castle at 9pm by the town reeve and mayor. A proclamation will be read by the town crier.

CROMER: Torch lit procession at 7pm and beacon lighting and firework display at 7.30pm.

DOWNHAM MARKET: Beacon lighting at St Edmund's Church at 8.30pm.

EYE: Celebrations start at 6.30pm at Eye Castle. In addition to music, food and drink is available. Beacon lighting at 8.15pm

FAKENHAM: Picnic party in Millennium park from 5pm. Funfair rides. Beacon lighting 7.30pm.

GORLESTON: There are beacon lightings at both the Cliff Hotel and the Potterhouse Bar and Grill. Both lightings will take place at 8.30pm.

GREAT ELLINGHAM: Celebrations at Great Ellingham Recreation Centre start at 4pm with the beacon lighting at 7.30pm.

HETHERSETT: Indoor street party at Hethersett Library from 2pm.

HOLT: Beacon lighting in the middle of town at Shirehall Plain (7pm)

HONING: Beacon lighting outside village hall (8.30pm).

HOPTON: Guests at Potters Resort will join together for a night of music and entertainment. After dinner their guests will get together to watch the lighting of the beacon, complete with some Potters pageantry to mark the occasion, followed by a celebration of music and entertainment in the Atlas Theatre. The beacons will be lit at 8.30pm following dinner.

HUNSTANTON: Beacon lighting on the cliff tops at 8.30pm.

KING'S LYNN: Beacon lighting on the quayside at 8.30pm.

LONG STRATTON: Beacon lighting at 7.30pm at South Norfolk Council headquarters in Swan Lane. From 5.30pm there will be a live brass band, entertainers, face painters and stalls.

NORWICH: Crowds are invited to bring along their Union flags and gather outside City Hall for the celebrations which begin from 6.30pm with the ringing of the bells of St Peter Mancroft.

At 7pm, the City Crier will call the crowd to attention ahead of the Lord Mayor of Norwich's welcome, which will include a message written by the Prince of Wales. Following the Queen lighting the principal beacon at Windsor Castle, at 7pm, Norwich will light a beacon at the top of City Hall steps and a singer will encourage the crowd to sing Happy Birthday.

City Hall will be lit red, white and blue for the evening with the Union Flag flown throughout the day. For this event, St Peters Street will be closed from 4pm until 10pm for the event.

RINGSFIELD: Matinee Mosaic at Ringsfield Church at 3pm, with a programme of readings about England and Englishness. Special afternoon tea refreshments will be available and admission is free, with donations to the church's Fabric Fund.

SHERINGHAM: Beacon lighting at The Leas Gardens (7.45pm)

STALHAM: People are asked to take photographs on April 21 of what they are doing and the pictures will then be used in an exhibition at St Mary's Church in Stalham.

STOKESBY: The village of Stokesby will be joining the nation with an evening of fire, song and dance at a sold out event at their village hall. The event will start at 7pm before the beacon is lit at 8.30pm. Guests will then toast the Queen with champagne and a birthday cake and a party will continue into the night with a barn dance led by the Barley Mow Ceilidh Band.

SUTTON HOO SUFFOLK: Beacon lighting (8.30pm).

SWANTON NOVERS: Chairman of North Norfolk District Council is hosting a special tea party at Swanton Novers Village Hall (2pm-5pm)for people living in North Norfolk who were born in 1930 or earlier. Beacon lighting at the hall for everyone (7pm).

THORPE ST ANDREW: Beacon lighting at Laundry Lane at 7pm.

TOPCROFT: Beacon lighting on the playing field (8pm).

WIMPOLE ESTATE CAMBRIDGESHIRE: Beacon lighting (8.30pm)
