Work to transform part of Norwich's Castle Mall shopping centre is really starting to take shape, as this picture shows.

Part of the new bespoke sculptural fascia, which makes up the Back of the Inns entrance to the mall, can now be seen with work on other areas still ongoing.

The construction of a new Back of the Inns entrance to the shopping centre is part of a multi-million-pound transformation project which was first revealed back in 2013.

In April last year, the Evening News reported how Norwich City Council backed a £1m investment project to revamp the Castle Mall entrance after previous designs were rejected.

Castle Mall have previously announced plans to attract six businesses into a new restaurant quarter surrounding the shopping centre's Timberhill entrance.

The transformation has been described as an 'exciting' time by Amanda Phillips, Castle Mall manager.
